Following Dreams

Dreams came insubstantial,
Translucent, misty things,
Made in tumult,
Crushed in fear,
Bathed in shadows,
Washed in tear,
Never seeing light of day,
Too much clutter in the way,
How to live and what to do
When living drains the life from you?

Choose to follow, arms outstretched,
Live the moment, fully entrenched,
Feel each heartbeat, love each breath,
Move purposely forward, step by step.

Moments chosen carefully,
Thoughts placed gently out,
Will benefit each one alive,
There really is no doubt,
Create a stronger field,
For each of us to be,
Pursue the life we chose,
To fulfil our spiritual need,
Guide us up our purpose path,
Towards our chosen dream,
Lead us by the hand
To hope, fulfilment, home.

Our dreams await……

Love’s Place

Love holds me tight
In her warm embrace,
My Universe lights up,
Milky ways of ships and stars
Pass me by,
Wave,
As if to an old friend,
Then slip quietly on their way.

It is warm and safe in love’s embrace,
For a moment,
This moment,
All we have
Before life moves us on
To we know not what,

Yet with the knowledge of this place
All others can be managed, accepted,
Experiences felt and learnt.

This safe place
Dims all others in it’s light
And moves us through
Life’s eternal path,
Moths to flame,
Fish to water,
Me to love’s place.

Sleep Well My Sweets

Sleep well my sweets…
I’ll travel with…
To all the peace there is…

Time slips through our being
Soul is free to fly
Spirit deep within us
Gently soars the sky

Move into your being
And there, you will find me

Goodnight sweetheart…
I’ll hold you close…

So fall into my arms
Feel the strength surround us both
From high ethereal charms
Know we’re loved beyond our ken
Held in high esteem
For roads we’ve traveled
Paths we’ve walked
Will bring us home again…

I Have Moved On

Starlight beckons,
Calls me home,
To places where I’m free to roam,
Glistening through dimensions deep,
Places visited before, in sleep,
Now drive me forward
To another day,
A different thought,
A different way,
Framed castles keep
From widows weep
By distance, not in measured pace,
But thought – a different kind of place,
Wide difference, poles apart,
Separating mind and heart,
Leaving naught but silent space,
Where once my heartbeat ran it’s race,
When stone cold dead I fell to earth,
One more light from heaven’s birth,
An empty hole now left behind,
A meteroic light so blind,
Man could not see,
Nor take the speed,
Of stars own twinkle dying need.

I have moved on.

Going Home

Life on Earth is taking strain
Do we forget from whence we came?

Of course we do and there’s the curse,
This distance growing makes it worse.

Yet just a single thought away,
We can be home, at rest, at play.

Who says life here is so hard
When it’s us who choose to think our path?

And God stands with us as we grow,
Ever more closely, going home.
