Today’s efforts (putting two up – hope you enjoy!):
Prompt is: Trust; Form is: Acrostic; Device is: Internal Rhyme – Got all 3 in! YAY! 🙂
Distrust
Taking bite from might,
Ruining ‘be’ with ‘maybe’,
Usurping premise of promise,
Setting precedent for disbelief,
The moment destroyed.
****
Trust? Really?
Then she came to me
Running tame with me
Under shame of me
Sharing blame in me
Taking aim at me
****
Having so much fun playing with these! Thanks to WordPress, @benhuberman and @Denise! 🙂

Woah, I really like what you did in the first stanza. It is like you are juxtaposing opposite words, managing to include internal rhyme. Nice!

I love the poem and how you wove the first part. there’s really no point saying ‘maybe’ when the answer should ‘be’. I love it.

Nice job. I really like the last line of both of them.
