Autumn Falls

     Whittled and brittle leaves

     Drop in the space of a breath.

     Life changes,

     Autumn falls,

     Lush green to auburn burnt,

     A clear African sky backdrop,

     And starkness left behind.

     Time to pause, reflect,

     Then move!
