Money – Just the Tool – NaPoWriMo 2015 – Day 8 (to Prompt)

To say that money
Measures wealth, floods life’s meaning,
Could be just naive

In truth, how a tool is used
Cannot be blamed on the tool.

Today’s prompt – “to write a palinode…a poem in which the poet retracts a statement made in an earlier poem.”

So, looking at yesterday’s Tanka – consider it retracted! 🙂

(okay, I realize this is not an ode (as in palin-ode) but liked the idea of using the same form for the retraction!). Hope you like it?
