Two eyes one picture
‘Til double vision descends
Two eyes, two pictures

Takes the sense from direction
From following one pathway

Fiery Eyes – NaPoWrimo 2015 – Day 24 (out of prompt)

I came to see, I know not why,
Just following a sparkle in your eye.
Times gone past, times to come,
A feeling life has just begun.

Elementary infinitesimal foundations
Enticed into being,
Seduced to formations
Of exquisite perception,
Sourced in the very fires
Of your eyes.

Now, I know why I came to see…

And why I stay.

Life Realise

Needless words
Through rainbow skies
Descend, touch down,
Life realise

Heedless sights
In torrents fall
On blindless eyes
Who see it all

Yet pass no comment
Experience each
Is to every man

In The Frame – NaPoWriMo – Day 7

I know your charcoal eyes are watching as I wake from slumber deep
Quietly spill back sheets, pour myself
To stand and feel you staring
As I start my day
Throw on worn clothes
Prepare myself for my world

Your liquid smile adorns me
With lifted lip
Raised eyebrow
Curved lid
Keeping secrets you can never tell
The last of the romantics

I have always known
The reason for
Your smile
And I forever pay the price
