Peace In The World

Peace In This World

There is a peace
To this world
Yes, there is

There is a peace
To be found
If we let go

There is a peace
Through release
From the mind
Body
Soul

A place
Where the heart
Wants to go

Where it sings
Through the being
Of itself

And whispers
Through the winds
Of its song

And breathes
With the light
Of its kind

There is a peace
To this world
That, I know

Fractured Soul Becoming Whole

When souls are fractured
Torn apart
What happens to the human heart?

When heaven splits it
From itself
What choices left to heal and health?

So isolated
Far from source,
What is left as a soul’s recourse?

To bide its time
Await the day
For life to show a brand new way

And gradually
Be withdrawn
As halves repairing what was torn

Step out into a bright new day
As one again
Rebirth attained

A New Me…Whoopee!

Misty brain fog dissipates,
Clarity prevails,
Life so grey and dark before
Divine, sublime, now hails.

Disease or drug related,
From other choices made,
The old pathway has disappeared
Abused, destructing, staid.

The one that I’m now standing on
Is open, fun and free.
Exciting opportunities
Are waiting there for me!

I can’t wait… Whoopee!

Incandescent Marks

Incandescent marks flow across the page,
Driving me now on to eternity’s sage,
Expressing deep the innermost me,
Displaying all there is to see,
Forever.

Never having reached this far or this fast,
The end is now in sight at last,
Forgetting darkness, dispersing fright,
Moving onward direct to light.

The page before perpetually glows,
An inner light it only knows,
Reaching for the soul within,
Forgiving thinking, deeds and sin

Testament to fields of life,
Exploring planes, dimensions rife,
Changing states as needs require,
Soul evolving higher and higher,

Moving in, moving out,
Forever listening for the shout
Of heavens call from source divine
To bring me home this heart of mine.

Sing with Purpose – NaPoWriMo Day 16

People came and sang with me,
Voices heightened, voices free,
Songs of hope and songs of praise,
Songs that touched the soul amazed.

They came in groups, they came alone,
Some came with wings and some with stone,
But all came breathing hard and fast,
Waiting for their note to last.

To reach on high for heights divine,
To take them far, with hearts in line,
Find places pure, where souls are free,
To follow their eternity.

Joining others, sharing depth,
In shady courts with guileless breath,
Meeting those who speak their truth,
In language strong and full of youth.

For all there know to be their best,
To shine and reach for light so blessed,
You listen for the echo deep,
Of resonating sound and reap

Tones so pure, beyond our ken,
Music made for souls of men,
Feel their purpose, know their way,
Guiding strong through every day.

Light and laughter, love perplexed,
Each moment shared endures the next,
To rise above small, petty cares,
And take the chance that’s offered there.

Yes! We will!

Ephemeral

T’was Sunday morning on the farm,
The cows had all been milked,
The pigs lay softly snorting,
The fences all rebuilt.

Chickens were a-clucking,
Dogs barking away,
Rain had started falling,
On this quiet, special day.

The breakfast table groaned
With a hearty meal to come,
Coffee sat a-brewing
As the farmer thought him done.

But dark clouds now came rolling in,
Threatening their stay,
The painter’s brush so wide and cruel
Would paint them all away.

The brush it swung so fast and true,
For the painter another role,
And the farmer and his merry bunch
Thought that they were in control.

How sad to think we live our lives
In the illusion that they’re real,
Until another comes along
And all the skins unpeel.

Our canvass fades before us,
What we thought was ours for keeps,
Then simply disappears,
Into the ether seeps.

A Day For You

It has been a stunning day,
Of thoughts, experiences shared,
Life well-lived in moments deep,
How we as people cared.

Perceptions seen, no judgement made,
Accepting each his own,
Awareness of just where we fit,
To be happy or bemoan.

Days of moments, seconds long,
Or minutes in the making,
Looking back, exploring sure
Our contribution and our taking.

How good it is to have lived this day
To have shared the waking time
Alone, together, it matters not
In the presence of the Divine.

As life is lived true to itself
And energy runs through,
It simply is and what it is
Is important just for you.
